The Animator is responsible for creatively animating characters and other 3D elements for games based on stylistic direction from the project Designer and Lead Artist.
Reports vertically to the Animation Director in all quality, administrative, training and logistics matters. When assigned to a product development team, the Animation Director will empower the Lead Animator to review work produced for quality and technical matters as it relates to that project.
When assigned to a product development team, reports horizontally to the assigned project Producer in all project management related activities.
The Technical Animator is also responsible for providing programming support for other programmers when needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 5 years of experience as an Animator/Technical Animator in the gaming industry or an equivalent combination of education and practical work experience.
Must have experience in Technical Animation for at least 1 AAA PC/Console title.
Must have a passion for games and making games!
