The Unreal Engine Developer is responsible for developing, debugging, and optimizing engine-level systems in the Unreal Engine for AAA quality PC/Console/VR video games.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Architect, implement and maintain game engine pipelines and features in UE4/UE5
Work with other other engineers and teams to gather project requirements and verify product satisfaction
Additional duties of a similar nature or level of responsibility may be assigned.
Implement new features or systems
Assist in the creation of technical design documents for new systems
QUALIFICATIONS:
Contributed extensively to the development of at least one shipped games, on PC/Console/VR
Strong C++ knowledge
Minimum 3 years of software engineering experience
Excellent math and/or physics skills
Passion for writing solid, reliable, efficient code and highly scalable systems
Experience with multiple core systems, such as graphics, tools, audio, networking, memory handling, scripting, etc.
Unreal Engine 4/5 experience
Experience working with multithreaded systems
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 5 years of experience as a Programmer/Software Engineer in the gaming industry or an equivalent combination of education and practical work experience.
Must have experience in Programming role on at least 1 AAA PC/Console title.
Must have a passion for games and making games!
