The Graphics Engineer is responsible for developing the “look” of the games. They’ll do this by creating integrated graphics and visual effects systems that are used in AAA quality PC/Console/VR video games.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Architect, implement and maintain Graphics pipelines and features
Design, write, debug and refine all graphics code and related features, tools and infrastructure in accordance with overall game design
Work with other rendering/graphics engineers and teams to develop the “look” of the games
Additional duties of a similar nature or level of responsibility may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Contributed extensively to the development of at least one shipped games, on PC/Console/VR
Proficient with 3D math including linear algebra (vector math, matrices)
Proficient in lighting, fx, post processing, shaders, etc.
Demonstrated proficiency in and knowledge of C/C++, data structures, performance, and multi-threaded programming techniques
Profile and performance tuning of graphics code
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 5 years of experience as a Programmer/Software Engineer in the gaming industry or an equivalent combination of education and practical work experience.
Must have experience in Graphics Programming for at least 1 AAA PC/Console title.
Must have a passion for games and making games!
