Overview:


Ghostpunch Games, LLC. is a south Florida-based independent game development studio led by a team of industry veterans with years of experience working with some of the most successful companies in the gaming industry.


The Lead Audio Designer position requires an individual with a proven track record of excellence, possessing at least 5 years of hands-on experience in the gaming industry and a highly preferred background of contributing to the development of one shipped AAA title.


Responsibilities:


Audio Design and Implementation:


   - Lead the end-to-end audio production process, collaborating closely with the development team to understand the creative vision, game mechanics, and narrative requirements.

   - Create exceptional sound designs, encompassing sound effects, ambient audio, and interactive elements, meticulously tailored to enhance the overall gameplay experience.

   - Expertly implement audio assets using industry-standard tools and middleware, optimizing for performance, and ensuring seamless integration across various platforms.


Sound Design:


   - Demonstrate an unparalleled creativity in sound design, crafting an extensive range of immersive audio elements that breathe life into characters, environments, and interactions.

   - Employ innovative techniques and a keen ear for detail to evoke emotions and heighten immersion within the game world.


Voice-Over Management:


   - Direct and oversee voice-over recording sessions, ensuring top-notch performances from talented voice actors that align with character personalities and the game's narrative direction.

   - Skillfully edit and post-process voice recordings to achieve impeccable voice acting that resonates with players.


Music Composition:


   - Compose original and evocative music that complements the game's themes, enhances storytelling, and provides a seamless audio experience.

   - Collaborate with the development team to synchronize music with gameplay events, enhancing the emotional impact and player engagement.





Technical Expertise:


   - Exhibit a mastery of industry-standard audio software and middleware, utilizing technical expertise to address audio-related challenges and optimize performance.

   - Ensure adherence to best practices in interactive audio principles, dynamically adapting audio assets to in-game events and player actions.


Requirements:


- Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering, Sound Design, Music Production, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered.

- Existing library of sound/music highly desired

- Experience with Unreal/Unity major plus!

- Experience working and collaborating with outsourcing

- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in audio design for the gaming industry, with a strong emphasis on AAA game development.

- Highly preferred: A proven track record of contributing to the audio design of at least one shipped AAA title.

- An impressive portfolio showcasing outstanding audio design, voice-over work, and original music compositions tailored specifically for games.

- Proficiency in industry-standard audio software and middleware (e.g., DAWs, FMOD, Wwise).

- Thorough understanding of interactive audio principles and implementation techniques.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- A passion for gaming and an unwavering dedication to creating exceptional audio experiences that resonate with players.
